Celebrity Style: Mischa Barton, Kirsten Dunst, Vanessa Traina

Celebrity Style: Mischa Barton, Kirsten Dunst, Vanessa Traina

Mischa Barton at the “The Diner Des Tsars” at the Guildhall in London. Light-coloured sheaths are her forte, although I’ve seen a better fit - and shoe choice - in the past.
Kirsten Dunst out and about in London. Maybe a bit too hipster trash, but the bottom half is too good to pass up.
Vanessa Traina at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco presents the Mid Winter Gala. Attempting this season’s ubiquitous satin turban, she looks remarkably refined. That said, I’m off put by the adoption of such a dated accessory - as in, Good From: January 2007 - April 2007. Trust me, by May, when Madonna’s H&M turban hits the streets at full frequency, you’ll be wishing Miuccia had taken up another hobby the day she decided to show it on the runway.

Celebrity Style: Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Penelope Cruz

Celebrity Style: Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Penelope Cruz

Here is Nicole Richie stepping out with fellow famous-for-nothing celeb Nickly Hilton for a bite at Johnny Rockets. Her ensemble is nice, but that yellow Balenciaga bag dangling from her hand clashes with her boots like Paris Hilton at fashion week. I don’t care that it’s Balenciaga, it looks like it cost $5. Next is Mischa Barton with boyfriend Cisco Adler at Beverly Hills restaurant La Scala. The outfit is not that bad, but, once again, that Louis Vuittion thing hanging over her shoulder is blasphemous. Finally, we have Penelope Cruz, as she receives the Silver Medal of Zaragoza in Zaragoza, Spain. Wow - talk about a lot of things going on with this outfit. While I like the silhouette, I think this may be one of those things that works better in theory. I’m slightly confused at the hunter green-ish leather and her choice of a sheer blouse. That said, I’m loving the Heidi hair and she gets salt shakers from doing something new.
